Osmonova Cholpon Abdrayevna
Applied artist. Born on August 24, 1966, in the city of Frunze. In 1985, she graduated from the Kyrgyz State Art College named after S.A. Chuykov, and then in 1990 from the Almaty Theater and Art Institute. From 1990 to 1993, she taught applied arts at the Republican Educational and Methodological Center for Aesthetic Education. Since 1993, she has been a lecturer at the Kyrgyz Architectural and Construction Institute.
Since 1997, she has been a member of the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic. Today, tapestries and batiks have actively entered the lives of modern interiors. Batik has taken its rightful place in decorative and applied arts. In this field, Ch. Osmonova works successfully. She has created thematic panels similar in compositional intent, drawing style, and color scheme to decorative paintings.
She participates in republican and international exhibitions.
