On December 15, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, met with Ryuichi Hirano, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan, who arrived to present his credentials. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
The President noted that Kyrgyzstan sees Japan as a reliable friend and key partner, adding that the relationship between the two countries is becoming increasingly strong over time.
Sadyr Japarov emphasized that over the years of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, an effective format of interaction has been developed. Long-term initiatives and high-level contacts allow for the constant renewal and expansion of key areas of partnership.
The head of state expressed confidence that the work of the new ambassador will contribute to the further development of Kyrgyz-Japanese relations and the launch of new mutually beneficial projects.
For his part, Ryuichi Hirano thanked the president for the warm welcome and noted the high level of mutual understanding between the two states.
The ambassador also conveyed sincere greetings from Emperor Naruhito of Japan and Prime Minister Sanae Takachi, noting their readiness to welcome the President of Kyrgyzstan on a visit to Japan in the near future.
He added that active cooperation and support from the leadership of both countries will contribute to the dynamic development of Japanese-Kyrgyz relations and add new substance to their interaction.
