



On December 15, President Sadyr Japarov met with Ryuichi Hirano, the Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan. During the meeting dedicated to the presentation of credentials, the head of state congratulated the diplomat on the beginning of his work in the country.
Japarov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan considers Japan an important friend and strategic partner, noting that the friendly ties between the two countries strengthen every year.
He also mentioned that as a result of many years of cooperation, an effective format of interaction has been developed. Long-term initiatives and regular high-level meetings contribute to the expansion and renewal of partnership directions.
The president expressed hope that the ambassador's work would contribute to deepening Kyrgyz-Japanese relations and launching new mutually beneficial projects.
Ryuichi Hirano, for his part, thanked for the warm welcome and noted the high level of mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries.
He also conveyed greetings from the Emperor of Japan Naruhito and Prime Minister Sanae Takachi, noting that they are ready to host the head of state on a visit to Japan in the near future.
Furthermore, Hirano expressed confidence that with active interaction from both sides, Japanese-Kyrgyz cooperation will develop dynamically and acquire new forms.
