According to the agency's data, this Law was adopted to execute the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic concerning the creation of a special investment territory in the Issyk-Kul region with a unique legal regime and an independent international center for dispute resolution using English law. To achieve these goals, a Roadmap for the development of subordinate legislation was created.
During the meeting, issues related to specific steps for accelerating the implementation of the Law, identifying obstacles, and jointly seeking solutions were discussed. Based on the results of the meeting, relevant protocol instructions were given, as indicated in the statement.
A presentation on the establishment of an independent international center for dispute resolution in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as its functions, goals, and prospects, was delivered by the Minister of Justice Aiaz Bayetov and consultants from the ministry on English law.
The main objective of creating the special financial investment territory "Tamchy" is to enhance the attractiveness of the Kyrgyz Republic for investors and to implement a set of systemic measures aimed at creating favorable legal and other conditions for the operation of both local and foreign investors.
