Trump invited Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to the G20 summit in the USA

At a press conference on December 23, Trump confirmed that Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have been invited to participate in the G20 summit, which will take place in Miami. This statement was made following his phone conversations with the presidents of these countries, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as reported by DW.

Trump noted that next year the U.S. will host the G20 summit and expressed hope for both leaders' participation in this significant event. He characterized Washington's relations with Astana and Tashkent as "magnificent."

On November 6, the "Central Asia - U.S." summit took place in Washington, where Trump met with the heads of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Tokayev then described Trump as a "great statesman sent from heaven to restore common sense and traditions to U.S. politics."

According to information from Astana, during the conversation on December 23, Tokayev emphasized the "outstanding leadership qualities" of the U.S. president and invited him to visit Kazakhstan on a state visit.
