At a meeting with his supporters in Pennsylvania on December 9, Donald Trump expressed the opinion that the United States is too actively accepting people from countries he describes as dysfunctional. This was reported by AP News.

The U.S. President noted that he proposed to introduce a permanent ban on immigration from so-called "hellholes," including Afghanistan, Haiti, and Somalia. These words elicited applause from those present at the event.

Trump also added that he would prefer to see immigrants from Denmark, Norway, or Sweden in the country rather than people from Somalia, emphasizing that "there is a disaster" in that region. "The only thing they know how to do well is chase ships," he concluded.
