On November 6, a "Central Asia - USA" summit will take place in Washington in the "C5+1" format. The presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan will participate in the event.
The first "Central Asia - USA" summit was held in September 2023 in New York, where various issues were discussed, including cooperation in green energy and regional security.
The composition of participants remains the same, except for the President of the United States: instead of Joe Biden, Donald Trump has been invited to the meeting.
Before flying to the USA, Emomali Rahmon was in Qatar, where he participated in the Second World Summit on Social Development. In his speech, he noted that over the past twenty years, more than four million jobs have been created and restored in various social and economic sectors in Tajikistan.
