Today, December 24, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Chairman of the State Tax Service, Alambet Shykmamatov, announced plans to open laboratories for testing jewelry in airports.
According to Shykmamatov, jewelers currently face the necessity of delivering their products to special locations for testing, which requires time and patience due to queues.
He added that, taking into account the experience of other countries, the authorities are considering the possibility of conducting testing directly at airports, which would significantly simplify the process. In this regard, it is planned to establish specialized laboratories at the "Tamchy", Osh, and Bishkek airports. Currently, the relevant work has already begun.
The Chairman of the STS noted that after the implementation of this project, modern laboratories capable of stamping jewelry will operate at the specified airports.
This innovation will not only reduce the time for jewelers but also free them from unnecessary procedures. As a result, this measure will serve as an incentive for the development of the jewelry industry, improving business conditions and increasing transparency in this sector.
