To support the jewelry industry in Kyrgyzstan, the single tax rate has been reduced to 0.25%.

This information was announced by Kubanychbek Isabekov, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service, in an interview with “Seventh Channel”.

According to him, the country produces between 20 to 25 tons of gold annually; however, measures aimed at supporting local jewelry manufacturers have not yet been fully implemented.

“In 2025, according to official data, our manufacturers produced 68,000 jewelry items, which corresponds to 140 kg of gold. At the same time, imports amounted to 442,000 items, equivalent to 1500 kg of gold, which is ten times more. In this regard, new measures have been adopted to protect and develop local production, including the reduction of the single tax rate to 0.25%,” noted Kubanychbek Isabekov.
