In his report, Zheenbek Kulubaev highlighted significant achievements of Kyrgyzstan within the CSTO, emphasizing that a key event was the summit of the heads of government of the member states, which was organized for the first time at the initiative of Bishkek. This event, held in September in the capital of the republic, marked an important step in the development of cooperation within this bloc.
During its chairmanship, Kyrgyzstan conducted more than 40 specialized events. Despite the challenging international situation and the increase in cross-border threats, the country managed not only to maintain continuity in the activities of the CSTO but also to propose new integration agreements and memorandums. According to the minister, the republic successfully fulfilled its role as a leader, making a significant contribution to strengthening the collective security system.
Throughout the year, emphasis was placed on strengthening political coordination and improving mechanisms for operational response to current challenges. The main areas remained joint efforts in combating terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and transnational crime, which required active cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of all member states.
