Over the past three years, the Collective Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) have conducted 20 joint exercises, including both command-staff and specialized events. This was reported by the CSTO press service.

Among the main exercises are the operational response maneuvers "Interaction," peacekeeping operations "Unbreakable Brotherhood," and exercises in Central Asia called "Rubezh."

Particular attention was paid to the actions of special formations, including:

As part of active operations, such as "Mercenary," more than 2,500 participants in terrorist activities were detained, and the operation "Illegal" identified over 257,000 cases of violations of migration legislation, as stated in the report.

In addition, the training of CSTO forces has been intensified, taking into account the experience of modern conflicts and new security threats.

In response to security challenges in Central Asia, a targeted intergovernmental program aimed at strengthening the Tajik-Afghan border has been approved and launched, which should help Tajikistan secure its southern borders.

The regulatory framework has also been updated, creating conditions for the participation of CSTO peacekeeping contingents in UN missions. Kazakhstan became the first country to independently deploy its national contingent in a peacekeeping mission in the Golan Heights.
