Zholdosheva participated in the early elections for deputies of the KR Jogorku Kenesh, which took place on November 30, 2025. She ran in district No. 8 and became the leader among women, receiving 2,590 votes.
However, later the district election commission annulled the voting results at polling stations No. 5249 and No. 5514, approving a new list of deputies that included Janarbek Akayev, Ulan Primov, and Nurzhamal Torobekova. Zholdosheva responded critically to this decision, claiming that the reason for the annulment was a video allegedly capturing vote buying, filmed in district No. 27 in Issyk-Kul.
On January 15, Zholdosheva sent an appeal to President Sadyr Japarov and the head of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev, requesting measures to be taken against the chairman of the CEC. In her appeal, she also recalled a conflict that occurred on April 1, 2011, within the walls of the Jogorku Kenesh, which escalated into a fight. Zholdosheva stated that Shainazarov was involved in this incident, claiming that he "takes pride" in having "broken Japarov's nose and mouth, as well as injured his forehead with a ring" during that time.
Additionally, she referred to information from journalist Turat Akim, asserting that Shainazarov was allegedly detained with 20 kilograms of drugs.
In conclusion of her appeal, Zholdosheva again labeled the decision to annul the votes at the polling stations during the elections as "illegal."
The press service of the CEC released a comment from Shainazarov, in which he denied all accusations. "I was shocked and upset by Zholdosheva's statements that I supposedly once beat President Sadyr Japarov during our time as deputies and continue to boast about it. This is absolute nonsense, slander, and manipulation.
As for the 20 kilograms of heroin, I don't even want to comment on that—only a person with mental disorders could think of such a thing. If Zhyldyzkan Zholdosheva truly wishes it, I am ready to pay for her treatment with a psychiatrist to help improve her mental state," he stated.
