During an analysis of one of the largest retail chains, Tazabek recorded 52 types of bottled water, with prices ranging from 18 soms to 353 soms depending on the brand and packaging volume.

Meanwhile, local companies producing water and soft drinks continue to show steady growth.
Production Indicators
According to the National Statistical Committee, 71.8 million liters of mineral water were produced in 2023, which is an 18% increase compared to 2022. The production volume of soft drinks in 2023 amounted to 212 million liters, which is three times the volume of mineral water.
In the first two months of 2024, the production of soft drinks increased by 50%, reaching 33.6 million liters. If we consider only February, production rose by 25% compared to the same month last year.
During the period of January-February this year, there was a recorded increase in the production of bottled water without sugar and flavorings by 19.1%, totaling 7.8 million liters.
Import and Export of Bottled Water
Although the export of mineral and carbonated water remains low, the volume of exported products has doubled over the past ten years, as noted in a study by the "Kyrgyz Export" center.
