At the climbing base "Dugoba," located in the Kadamjai district, four individuals were fined for violating public order. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Batken region.

According to the department, local internal affairs officers held a meeting with citizens present at the "Dugoba" base, which is situated 40 kilometers from the center of Kadamjai. This initiative was part of the implementation of directives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From February 9 to 15, the police conducted a public safety check, as well as verifying documents and the technical condition of vehicles used for taxi services in the area of the climbing base. As a result of these checks, four citizens faced fines in accordance with the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In addition, explanatory activities were conducted with residents of border areas aimed at strengthening tolerance, interethnic harmony, and adherence to laws to prevent conflicts.

Tourists from Uzbekistan at the climbing base were reminded of the importance of respecting the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic and local traditions.

Kadamjai is located 40 km from the town of the same name, known for producing high-quality antimony. This region stretches along the Shahimardan River, which originates from the northern slopes of the Pamir-Alai. The river is formed by the confluence of the Ak-Suu and Kok-Suu tributaries, which merge below two cliffs—Kala-Choku and Uzun-Choku—that once served as natural fortresses. Tools of primitive humans and pottery shards have been found in the area, and on the cliffs under Kala-Choku, there are images of goats and depressions that were likely used for sacrifices.

At an altitude of 1400 meters, near the confluence of the rivers, lies the picturesque village of Hamkha-Abad, which is now an enclave of Uzbekistan. In the past, it was a popular vacation spot for residents of the Fergana Valley but lost this significance after the collapse of the USSR. However, with the improvement of relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the area may once again become attractive to tourists.

In the lower part of the valley, the Ak-Suu River flows through several branches, and 10 km upstream is the village of Iordan. At an altitude of 1550 meters, the Dugoba River flows into the Ak-Suu, and further upstream are the Shivali and Hadzhir tributaries. The sources of the Ak-Suu are formed by the confluence of the Eki-Davana and Archa-Bashi rivers, which originate from the glaciers of the Alai Range. On the left bank is the "Chyragdan" botanical reserve, covering 500 hectares, where unique plant species, including tulips, are protected. Seven kilometers from Hamkha-Abad, in the Kek-Suu gorge at an altitude of 1650 meters, lies Lake Kurban-Köl, which can be reached in summer by cable car. The water in the lake is a bright blue color. Nearby, in the Kenk-Suu gorge, is Lake Jashil-Köl, famous for its green landscapes surrounded by juniper forests. This region also has several accessible caves, among which the Kal mak-Unkur cave stands out, featuring a large underground hall with rare stalactites and a small lake.

The Dugoba region is rich in interesting rocky-snowy peaks, including Peak Uzbekistan (5232 m), Akhunbaeva (5200 m), Materie (5010 m), Frunze (4550 m), Ulitor (4530 m), Tashkent (4600 m), Ak-Tash (4970 m), Aydar (4750 m), and others.
