The qualifying round of this event took place on March 25 at the Culture House named after Kaiypbek Sultangaziev. A total of 18 dance groups participated in the competition, representing both junior and senior age categories. The participants showcased Kyrgyz national dances as well as performances in free style.
The director of the Culture House, Kurmanjan Tilenbaeva, noted that this competition has been held since 2006, and this year marks its 20th occurrence.
