He noted that currently there is only one hospital operating in Kara-Balta.
“During the Soviet Union, there were two hospitals in the city, but then one of them was transferred to private hands. At the moment, it has returned to municipal ownership. A new hospital is planned to be built on a territory of 4.3 hectares. Last year, we already raised this issue, and the Ministry of Health reported that construction would begin; however, as it appears, nothing has been done so far,” Abdiyev added.
He also mentioned that residents of the Jayil district go to this hospital, where large queues often form, and medical staff cannot keep up with serving patients. The delegate called for a resolution to this problem.
