A delegate at the Kurultai proposed initiatives for the development of the Kadamjai district, including irrigation, gas supply, and changing the status of the nature reserve.

- At the IV People's Kurultai, held on December 25, the delegate from the Kadamjai district of the Batken region, Zharkynaly Abdiramitov, presented a number of proposals aimed at improving the socio-economic situation in the region.

He emphasized the importance of irrigation activities and made the following proposals:

    •    allocate funding for the construction of a canal in the village of Ismat Kakyr and other settlements, which will ensure the irrigation of 4,000 hectares of agricultural land in the rural districts of Maidan and Absamat Masaliev;

    •    include the completion of the construction of the Boz-Kara-Kyshtak canal, which was started back in 1985, in the working program for 2026;

    •    create water collection structures in Maidan and Kök-Talaa for the effective use of excess water.

In addition, the delegate drew attention to the following aspects:

    •    ensure gas supply for the rural district of Absamat Masaliev through a high-pressure main gas pipeline;

    •    change the status of the Surmatash reserve to a state park, which will allow for livestock grazing and improve the living conditions of local residents;

    •    support the establishment of a fruit processing enterprise for the effective use of the harvest;

    •    complete the construction of the Uch-Korgon – Daroot-Korgon road, which is 117 km long, of which 67 km passes through the Kadamjai district, opening new opportunities for economic and social interaction between the Batken region and the Chon-Alai valley.
