A 20-Meter Monument to Lionel Messi Unveiled in India

The ceremony took place at the "Salt Lake" stadium, where a 20-meter statue depicting Messi holding the World Cup was installed.

The footballer participated in the event via video link, which, according to media reports, was due to security measures.

Messi expressed his gratitude, stating: "It is a great honor for me to be part of this event. I am very happy for the support that the people of Kolkata give to our national team and to me. I feel wonderful here," reports Asian News International.

Let us remind you that Lionel Messi is the 2022 World Champion with the Argentine national team and one of the most decorated footballers in history.
