In connection with the 97th anniversary of the birth of the famous writer Chyngyz Aitmatov, the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Antalya donated a new set of upholstered furniture to the library named after him. This was made possible thanks to the support of sponsors.
The message states that the Consulate General, in cooperation with various partners and sponsors, regularly holds events aimed at preserving and promoting the legacy of the outstanding Kyrgyz author. In previous years, with the help of Chyngyz Aitmatov's relatives, the library has been enriched with nearly 1800 books, as well as modern computer and technical equipment for the convenience of users.
Representatives from Muratpaşa, General Consul Rustam Koshonov, library director Duygu Erkylynch, and head of the international department of the municipality Vural Korkmaz participated in the event.
