As a result of the drone attack, a fire broke out on the vessel, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to three others. The fire, which covered an area of about 20 square meters, was quickly extinguished.
In addition to the port, the drones also attacked a multi-story residential building under construction in the western part of the city, but according to the governor, there were no casualties in this incident.
The city of Bataysk also came under attack, resulting in seven injuries, one of whom died after being transported to a medical facility. That same night, Taganrog was shelled as well, but specific information about the consequences in that city has not yet been received.
Emergency services are working at the sites of the incidents to assess the damage and clarify all the circumstances of what happened.
