
The governor noted that as a result of the attack, several apartments in a residential building were damaged. “Two people died. I express my condolences to their relatives and loved ones. We will provide the necessary support,” he added.
Emergency response services are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences. Affected residents will receive financial assistance, and a temporary accommodation point has been opened. It is planned that the main restoration work will be completed within the day.
Additionally, it has been reported that the shockwave damaged windows in a kindergarten and a clinic; however, at the time of the incident, there were no children or patients present.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that 28 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the territory of the Saratov region on the night of the attack.
