Iranian authorities declared full control over the protests
According to Araghchi, the nationwide protests in Iran are now "completely controlled." Moreover, the minister pointed to substantial evidence indicating the involvement of the USA and Israel in the recent terrorist acts on Iranian territory, as reported by Iran International.
“We have numerous documents and evidence of the participation of the USA and Israel in the terrorist acts of recent days in Iran,” he emphasized.
The minister also mentioned the words of former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who, according to him, acknowledged that “Mossad agents were among the protesters and were managing this terrorist movement.”
Araghchi criticized Western governments, pointing out that they condemn the actions of the Iranian police rather than the terrorists themselves.
Mass protests in Iran have been ongoing since late December, with participants demanding a change of the current political regime. According to the human rights organization HRANA, at least 544 people have died during the protests. Iranian authorities have accused the USA and Israel of organizing the protests.
