According to information from Euronews, this statement was made against the backdrop of escalating tensions in the region, including the approach of a second American aircraft carrier to the Middle East.

Trump emphasized that over the years of negotiations with Iran, reaching a significant agreement has proven to be a challenging task, and it is necessary to achieve such an agreement. Otherwise, he stated, "negative consequences will occur."

At the same time, Iran is conducting annual military exercises in conjunction with Russia, which, according to experts, underscores Tehran's readiness to use force in the event of failed negotiations.

Negotiations between the US and Iran have not progressed in recent weeks, and analysts suggest that the parties may be stalling for time to prepare for a possible military scenario.

Iran, for its part, claims that it is not enriching uranium following the attacks by the US and Israel last summer and insists that discussions should focus solely on the nuclear program.

At the same time, Tehran's authorities emphasize that they do not seek to escalate the conflict.

According to Iran's ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, "under such circumstances, all bases, facilities, and assets of hostile forces in the region will be considered legitimate targets in the context of Iran's defensive response."

The sharp remarks from the US president have already led to a rise in oil prices and heightened concerns about the possibility of a major conflict in the Middle East.
