The incident occurred on February 22 at 1:30 AM local time. The man was spotted by Secret Service agents at the north gate of the residence with an object resembling a shotgun and a fuel canister.

After he breached the secured area, law enforcement opened fire, resulting in him being shot. The identity of the deceased has not yet been established. Representatives of the Secret Service also reported that there were no protected individuals on the premises at that time. According to the public schedule, Donald Trump is spending the weekend at the White House.
