He confirmed that the administration will continue efforts to prevent Iranian nuclear developments, but did not rule out the possibility of implementing stricter measures if necessary. "I prefer diplomatic solutions, but one thing is clear: I will never allow the world's leading sponsor of terrorism — which is exactly what Iran is — to possess nuclear weapons," he stated.
The next round of negotiations between the USA and Iran regarding the nuclear deal is expected to take place in Geneva this week. Yesterday, Iranian authorities announced their readiness to sign an agreement with Washington.
