In an interview published in The New York Times, Trump did not reveal the names of the candidates but noted that he has three suitable options.

Discussing the possibility of a regime change in Iran, he expressed hope for the takeover of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro as the ideal scenario.

Previously, Trump emphasized that the U.S. armed forces are prepared to continue operations against Iran for four to five weeks if necessary.

It is worth noting that on February 28, the U.S. and Israel began large-scale military operations against Iran. The Israeli side stated that the main goal of these attacks is to prevent Iran's nuclear weapons program. Trump also announced his intentions to destroy the Iranian navy and defense infrastructure, calling on Iranian citizens for a change in power.

According to reports, on the night of March 1, Iran announced the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, with media reports also listing members of his family among the deceased.

Strikes are being carried out against both military and civilian targets in Iran and other countries in the region. In response, Tehran is attacking Israeli territories and U.S. military bases in the Middle East.
