In connection with the recent large-scale attacks by the United States on Venezuela, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued an official statement. As reported by the Anadolu Agency.

The document emphasizes that Ankara is monitoring the situation in Venezuela and places great importance on stability in the country. "We call on all parties to exercise restraint to avoid negative consequences for regional and international security," the statement reads.

Furthermore, Turkey expressed its readiness to offer constructive solutions for resolving the crisis in Venezuela within the framework of international law. The Turkish Embassy in Caracas is maintaining contact with the citizens of the country and organizing the necessary coordination.

Iran has also issued a strong condemnation of the actions of the United States. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described the capture of Nicolás Maduro and his wife as an act of state terrorism and condemned the military intervention by the United States.

"The Iranian Foreign Ministry firmly condemns the military attack by the U.S. on Venezuela and the blatant violation of its sovereignty," Araghchi noted.

The Iranian agency emphasized Venezuela's right to self-defense and called on all states, as well as the UN and the Security Council, to immediately cease U.S. actions against Venezuela.

Recall that on January 3, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that American military forces had captured Nicolás Maduro and his wife, taking them out of the country. He also noted that Maduro is responsible for the activities of the "Cartel of the Suns," adding that the U.S. has "absolute evidence" of his connection to the drug cartel, which will be presented in court.
