The President of the United States called for an end to support for drug cartels
During a press conference following Operation 'Absolute Resolve', which took place in Venezuela, Donald Trump made an address to the leaders of Cuba, Colombia, and Mexico. He emphasized the need for their governments to stop supporting drug cartels and to engage more actively in the fight against drug trafficking and crime.
It is worth noting that the day before, American military forces conducted a series of airstrikes on both military and civilian infrastructure in Venezuela. Additionally, a Delta Force special operations team captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, transporting them out of the country for legal proceedings in the U.S. on charges of "narcoterrorism and drug trafficking."
