In a phone interview that took place on March 2 with CNN, Trump stated: "We are squeezing everything we can out of them. Everything is going very successfully. We really have a powerful army, and we are actively using it."

When asked about the duration of the conflict, the president expressed confidence that it would not be prolonged. According to him, the operation could take about four weeks.

He added: "I have always believed that everything fits within four weeks. We are even a little ahead of schedule."

When asked whether aid would be provided to the Iranian population, Trump confirmed that such measures are being taken, but noted that it is dangerous to be on the streets right now.

"Definitely. But at the moment we want everyone to stay indoors. It’s not safe outside," he said, adding that the situation could worsen.

Trump also warned: "We haven't even started delivering truly hard blows. The most serious is yet to come."

Earlier, in an interview with The New York Times, the U.S. president made statements that the attacks could continue for four to five weeks if necessary. He also mentioned in a conversation with the Daily Mail that the operation could end faster than four weeks.

It is worth noting that on February 28, the U.S. and Israel began a large-scale military operation against Iran. Israeli authorities stated that the goal of these strikes is to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons. Trump had previously also expressed intentions to destroy the Iranian navy and defense industry, calling on the Iranian people to change their government.
