Situation in the Middle East
- Following the death of Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, the management of the country has temporarily passed to a council that includes President Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary, and a representative of the Guardian Council of the Constitution. The death of the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the secretary of the Defense Council has also been confirmed.
- On Sunday, the U.S. Central Command reported the loss of three soldiers.
- A multinational military base near Erbil in northern Iraq and a German field camp in eastern Jordan were shelled from Tehran; however, German military personnel were not the target of the attacks, according to AFP reports.
- According to Donald Trump, as a result of U.S. and Israeli strikes in Iran, 48 people were killed, including military personnel and officials.
- Iran attacked U.S. military bases in the region, particularly in Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Three casualties were reported in the UAE and one in Kuwait. - Brent and Nymex oil prices rose by more than 10% at the opening of Asian markets on Monday.
- Israeli military forces began strikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon.
- In Austin, Texas, a man wearing a shirt with the Iranian flag opened fire in a bar, resulting in two deaths and 14 injuries; the attacker was shot by police.

Conflict in Ukraine and Russia
- As a result of a Russian airstrike on an agricultural enterprise in the Sumy region, two women were killed, and another was injured.
- In the Bryansk region of Russia, a resident was killed by a strike from a Ukrainian drone.
- The city of Dnipro was attacked by Russian drones, resulting in one injury.
- On the night of March 1, Russian strike drones attacked Odesa, with no casualties reported.
