Against the backdrop of escalating tensions surrounding the Iranian nuclear program, several countries, including Italy and the United Kingdom, have updated their security recommendations. On February 27, the United Kingdom temporarily withdrew its staff from Iran and closed its embassy due to security concerns. On the same day, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly advised its citizens currently in Iran to leave the country unless absolutely necessary, also urging caution throughout the Middle East, particularly in Israel.

In parallel, Poland reportedly recommended that its citizens immediately leave Iran, Israel, and Lebanon, citing the possibility of restrictions on civilian air traffic.

Australia also reported recommendations for the spouses and children of diplomats in Israel and Lebanon to leave those countries, while other citizens were advised to consider departing while commercial flights are still available.

According to Reuters, the United States is also withdrawing some of its personnel and family members of diplomats from the region, including non-essential staff from the embassy in Lebanon, and providing an option for "permitted departure" for non-emergency personnel and their families from Israel.

Additionally, similar recommendations have been issued by the embassies of Canada, China, and India.
