Iran rejected US demands on the nuclear deal, - The Wall Street Journal

During the negotiations, US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner demanded that Iran eliminate three key nuclear facilities located in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. They also insisted on the export of the remaining enriched uranium to the United States. Additionally, the American side stated that any agreement must be indefinite.

Iran, for its part, rejected the demands for the export of uranium stocks and opposed the idea of halting enrichment, dismantling nuclear facilities, and imposing permanent restrictions on its nuclear program.

The head of the Iranian government's information council, Elyas Hazrati, previously claimed that "nothing will be exported from Iran." He also added that uranium enrichment "will continue according to the needs of the country" and pointed out the discrepancy between the WSJ article and the reality of the negotiation process.

According to WSJ, more than 20 fighter jets will soon be added to several American squadrons in the Middle East. A carrier, eight destroyers, and three US warships have also arrived in the region. President Donald Trump warned Iran of possible "bad things" if Tehran does not comply with Washington's demands.
