- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed concern that the protracted war between the USA and Israel with Iran could negatively impact arms supplies to Ukraine.
- The Russian Central Bank filed a complaint with the General Court of the European Union in Luxembourg regarding an EU Council regulation that provides for the indefinite freezing of the Central Bank's assets, as early as February 27.
- According to Financial Times, the EU ambassador to Ukraine, Katarina Maternova, attempted to obtain permission to inspect the damaged Druzhba oil pipeline at the presidential office but was denied. The publication reports that a similar request was made by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa on February 24, but was also not granted for security reasons. Ukrainian authorities previously reported serious damage to the pipeline as a result of a Russian strike and ongoing restoration efforts.
- Andriy Yermak, the former head of the Ukrainian president's office, has taken a new position in the Ukrainian Bar Association, heading the committee for the protection of victims of armed aggression, as well as issues of compensation and Eurointegration.
- Volgograd region governor Andrey Bocharov reported five people injured as a result of an attack by a Ukrainian drone.
- Power outages occurred in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions of Ukraine due to Russian strikes on energy infrastructure.
- In the village of Esman in Sumy region, a 48-year-old local resident was killed as a result of morning shelling on March 3.
- In Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, casualties were also reported, with five people, including a seven-year-old girl, requiring medical assistance.
- In Bryansk region, Russia, a residential building was damaged due to an attack by Ukrainian drones, but no injuries were reported.
- Russian military forces struck Odesa region using drones, damaging port and transport infrastructure facilities.
- Four people were injured in Poltava region due to falling drone debris.
- Valeriy Sushkevich, President of the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine, reported that Ukrainian Paralympians will not be able to compete at the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games in uniforms featuring the map of Ukraine, as the International Paralympic Committee deemed this design "political" and prohibited its use.
