- At the UN General Assembly, a resolution was adopted calling for an immediate ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. The United States abstained from voting.
- Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, announced plans to provide Ukraine with a loan of 90 billion euros, despite Hungary's objections, as well as plans for a 20th package of sanctions against Russia.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the Nordic and Baltic countries promise to provide Ukraine with military assistance amounting to 12.5 billion euros this year.
- Leaders of the "coalition of the willing" issued a joint statement following a meeting in Kyiv, timed to the fourth anniversary of the war, emphasizing the importance of further support for Ukraine and increasing pressure on Russia.
- On February 24, the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced sanctions against four individuals and three companies, including the St. Petersburg company Operation Zero (LLC "Matrix") and its leader Sergey Zelenyuk, accused of developing zero-day vulnerabilities for sale to the Russian government.
- The UK expanded its sanctions list against Russia, adding 297 new entities, including 240 legal entities and seven individuals, as well as 50 maritime vessels.
- Canada also announced new sanctions against Russia and the allocation of an additional aid package to Ukraine, which will include 21 individuals, 53 organizations, and 100 vessels linked to the Russian "shadow fleet."
- Australian authorities implemented the most significant sanctions against Russia since 2022, adding 180 individuals and legal entities, as well as vessels from the "shadow fleet" to the blacklist.
- Kyiv called the accusations from Russian intelligence that Ukraine is attempting to acquire nuclear weapons and technology through the UK and France absurd.
- As a result of a recent Russian attack on the Synelnykove district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, two people were killed and five were injured.
