Macron emphasized that this declaration marks the first time close cooperation among 35 coalition countries, Ukraine, and the USA is officially recorded. He noted that the document provides "reliable guarantees for sustainable peace."
The declaration includes key security elements, including the establishment of a ceasefire monitoring mechanism under the auspices of the USA with support from several countries. Additionally, it provides for the full support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to prevent possible new aggression.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky characterized the declaration as a "very concrete" agreement. He added that Ukraine already knows which countries will participate in these arrangements and what contribution each of them will make. Zelensky also noted progress in negotiations with the American delegation regarding the monitoring of the ceasefire.
