Macron emphasized: "I will work until the last minute, striving every day to justify the trust placed in me by the French people."
The president also stated that he does not plan to participate in future elections. He noted that by the end of 2026, the election campaign will begin, in which he will not take part: "This will be the first campaign in the last ten years where I will not play any role."
Moreover, he added that he will make efforts to ensure the peaceful conduct of elections without external interference.
As for the immediate tasks, the president noted that in the first week of January, the government and parliament need to reach an agreement on budgetary issues.
Since 2017, Emmanuel Macron has been serving as the President of France. According to the current constitution, he is not allowed to run for a third term.
