The President of Ukraine emphasized that Russia continues to strike at the country's energy infrastructure, to which Ukraine has the right to respond. "If the Russians are ready for a ceasefire in the energy sector, as we have always emphasized, then we will be ready too. This is extremely important for our people," Zelensky noted.
He also added that the updated peace plan has not yet been submitted to the United States. "We are working on this with our advisors and, I hope, we will be able to submit it tomorrow," he said.
Zelensky clarified that three key documents are being discussed. "There are a number of different documents. The first is a constantly updated framework document of 20 points, which is absolutely normal. The second concerns security guarantees, and I am waiting for responses from our military and their interaction with American partners. This should be combined with the position of the coalition of willing parties," he explained. "The third document concerns reconstruction, which will be significant when the war ends or a ceasefire is reached," the president added.
