On his page on the social network Truth Social on March 6, Trump emphasized: "There will be no deal with Iran except under unconditional surrender!" He added that with the arrival of a worthy and acceptable leader in Iran, the U.S. and its allies will work to bring the country back from the brink of destruction and make its economy stronger than ever.

In his opinion, Iran "has a great future."

The U.S. President concluded his post with the phrase: "Make Iran great again, MIGA!" playing on his famous political slogan.

In another message, Trump touched on the topic of the movement of people in the Middle East. He stated: "We are moving thousands of people from various countries in the region. This is happening unnoticed but in an organized manner. The State Department under Marco Rubio is doing an excellent job."

Additionally, in an interview with NBC News, Trump expressed his position on the need for a complete change of leadership in Iran. He noted that Washington has several candidates for the role of a "good leader," but did not mention specific names.

Earlier, Trump also mentioned that he should be involved in the selection of a new leader for Iran. He acknowledged that a likely successor could be Mojtaba Khamenei — the son of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, but added that he considers such a scenario unacceptable.
