The new Venezuelan government has already released several political prisoners and amended legislation, opening the oil sector to foreign investments.
On February 27, Delcy Rodríguez called on the U.S. to lift sanctions and the blockade of Venezuelan oil, emphasizing that Caracas is ready for a new level of cooperation with Washington.
In addition, the U.S. State Department reported an agreement reached with the interim authorities of Venezuela to restore diplomatic relations between the countries.
