At the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council held in Geneva, experts highly praised the educational reform being implemented in India. The main focus of the discussion was on inclusivity, skill development, and practical training for students, as noted in a publication by the Times of Oman.

Comparison with International Practices

Hubel, commenting on India's educational system, noted that the emphasis on creativity and independent thinking is similar to practices observed in countries like Hong Kong and Luxembourg. However, the Indian model stands out in that these concepts are actively brought to life through practical projects and assignments.

Digital Skills and Collaborative Initiatives

While working at the "Akshar" foundation, Hubel participated in projects with students, including the creation of a short film. This experience showed that many students confidently use modern technologies—skills that are becoming increasingly in demand in the global economy.

Potential for Global South Countries

Hubel also noted that integrating labor skills and income sources into the school curriculum could significantly impact the issue of youth unemployment. He stated:
The combination of academic knowledge and practical training helps bridge the gap between the education system and labor market demands.

He also emphasized that India's efforts to expand access to skills-oriented education could serve as an example for other Global South countries seeking to reform their educational systems.
