An earthquake with a magnitude of 4 occurred near the capital of Kyrgyzstan

According to the information from the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4 has been recorded in Kyrgyzstan. The event occurred on March 7 at 17:50.

The epicenter of the tremors was located 15 kilometers northeast of the village of Jumgal, 17 kilometers southwest of Mantysh, 53 kilometers southwest of Kochkor, 100 kilometers northwest of Naryn, and 105 kilometers southeast of the capital, Bishkek.

The intensity of the earthquake was assessed at 3.5 points in the villages of Jumgal, Kyzart, Lama, and Mantysh, while in the villages of Ortok, Kyzyl-Dobo, Ak-Chiy, and Chon-Dobo it was around 3 points.
