The attack was carried out on March 7. An official statement said: “The facility in the province of Isfahan was subjected to airstrikes and missiles, resulting in serious damage to the center.”
No information has yet been received regarding possible radioactive contamination. The IAEA has also not commented on the incident at this time.
In response to these actions, Tehran stated its readiness to take symmetrical measures if the USA and Israel continue their attacks on Iranian fuel infrastructure.
Earlier, reports were made about strikes on several oil storage facilities in Iran. The Red Crescent Society warned citizens about possible acid rains caused by toxins released into the atmosphere after the explosions.
