The Chinese company Lonvi Biosciences is developing pills based on grape seed extract that could extend human life to 150 years. This is reported by The New York Times.

Lonvi Biosciences, located in Shenzhen, specializes in technologies aimed at achieving longevity. The company has created anti-aging pills containing a unique compound extracted from grape seeds.

The research that underpins the company's developments was conducted by scientists from Shanghai. They found that procyanidin C1 (PCC1), found in grape seeds, can increase the lifespan of mice by 9.4% and extend their life by 64.2% from the start of treatment.

Lu Qinghua, the company's Chief Technology Officer, noted: "Reaching the age of 150 is quite realistic. I am confident that in the next few years this will become our reality."

Grape seeds are known in the West as a valuable product, and their oil is actively used in cosmetology for skin rejuvenation. Lonvi Biosciences claims that their drug contains "isolated molecules capable of destroying aging cells that have stopped dividing due to damage or stress, but do not disappear naturally, causing inflammatory processes in tissues."

The company's CEO, Ip Zhu, characterized the innovation as the "Holy Grail," emphasizing its uniqueness.

According to information, in 2024, the average life expectancy in China was 79 years, which is five years higher than the global average.

Previously, the leaders of China and Russia discussed issues related to immortality in a private conversation. Later, Vladimir Putin confirmed these discussions at a press conference in Beijing, expressing confidence that modern medicine could significantly extend human life.

The conversation, which also involved Kim Jong Un, was broadcast live as they ascended to the Tiananmen Gate. The exchange lasted less than a minute and was interrupted, with only separate phrases audible.

Xi Jinping said in Chinese: "in our days" and "70 years." The translator, conveying his words, added in Russian: "In the past, people rarely lived to be 70 years old, but now at 70, you are still a child."

Then Vladimir Putin made an unclear comment, after which the translator reported in Chinese: "With the development of biotechnology, human organs will be able to be transplanted constantly, and people will be able to live younger and possibly even achieve immortality."
