In Osh, Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev, along with members of the working group responsible for the improvement of Mount Suleiman-Too, conducted an inspection of the buffer zone of this sacred landmark. The press service of the mayor's office of the southern capital reports on the inspection.

The working group included specialists from the state enterprise "Scientific Research Project Institute 'Kyrgyzrestoration'", archaeologists, and other experts. They discussed possible changes to the boundaries of the buffer zone of the mountain.

Currently, the buffer zone covers an area of 5 kilometers. The mayor's office intends to improve the condition of the surrounding area, where there are currently issues with dead wood, litter, and a lack of water, as well as periodic fires.

Discussions of a new project are planned, which will be presented to UNESCO members. According to Toktorbaev, for Osh to attract tourists, it is necessary to develop and improve the infrastructure around the sacred mountain.

If the project is approved, future plans include greening and improving the area, including the installation of drip irrigation and lighting. There will also be an organization of eco-friendly electric vehicle movement for the convenience of local residents and tourists.
