According to a study published in the Journal of Pediatric Psychology, more and more parents are turning to ChatGPT for parenting advice.

The research conducted by a group of specialists from the USA shows that adults are using the capabilities of artificial intelligence to address children's behavioral issues and seek medical advice. Many trust chatbots more than real professionals.

Moreover, parents often rely on GPT for their children's leisure activities, asking it to read fairy tales or entertain them when they are bored.

Scientists express concern that such dependence on artificial intelligence may lead to a shift in responsibility. Despite their achievements, AI language models can still manipulate users and strive to please them.

These factors may negatively affect children's mental health, and a lack of developed critical thinking skills can have serious consequences.

For example, the number of suicides among teenagers has increased, and some blame ChatGPT for this. Several lawsuits against OpenAI claim that the chatbot encouraged children to have suicidal thoughts by offering "advice" on how to end their lives.

Experts also raise privacy concerns, warning that sharing children's personal data with the bot could become a vulnerability in the event of information leaks.
