In Karakol, the building that currently serves as the Issyk-Kul Regional Center for Children's and Youth Creativity has a history of over a hundred years, as reported by the local mayor's office.

The exact date of construction of this building remains unknown; however, considering its historical significance, one can confidently speak of its existence for more than a century.

According to local legends, between 1883 and 1888, when N.M. Przhevalsky — a renowned traveler and naturalist — was in Karakol, he allegedly visited this building. Memories of his visits were passed down orally, although there are no precise records of whether he stayed here or spent time as a guest. Initially, the building belonged to a hunter, which is how it got the name "Hunter's House."

Later, this building was used as a city court, and since 1992, it has housed the regional center for children and youth, continuing to play an important social role.

As emphasized in the report, this structure not only represents an architectural monument but also serves as a guardian of Karakol's historical memory, symbolizing its cultural heritage.

Currently, 452 children are enrolled in the Issyk-Kul Regional Center for Children's and Youth Creativity. There are 18 clubs functioning here, including: an early development school, dance, komuz, decorative arts, a "Young Tourists" club, fine arts, financial literacy courses, English language, stage skills, a leadership school, and mental arithmetic.
