The work on creating these parks began in February of this year. Initially, it was planned that the project would be completed by January 2026. However, the contractor expressed the intention to finish the construction ahead of schedule and put the facilities into operation earlier.
According to the Batken mayor's office, the completion of construction work is scheduled for August, and the parks are planned to be put into operation on August 31. This event was supposed to coincide with the celebration of Batken Region Day in October.
Nevertheless, at the moment, the work is still not finished and continues. Mayor Seytek Kulbaev checked the progress of the project and instructed to review the quality of the work done, increase the workforce, and complete the construction without further delays.
