The forum will be dedicated to the work of Gulsara Azhybekova, a People's Artist of Kyrgyzstan, as well as programs aimed at the development of mountain regions and the celebration of International Mountain Day.
At this event, 25 films created by women directors from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan will be showcased. The films will be presented under the themes "Women’s Perspective" and "Environmental and Social Activism".
In addition to screenings, the forum's program includes master classes, book presentations, panel discussions, and meetings with renowned directors. At the end of the event, the best films will be awarded.
The International Film Forum of Women Directors was founded in 2016 and has become the first platform for women directors in Central Asia.
