Local residents demand explanations regarding the expenditure of donor funds for the renovation of the water supply infrastructure
The residents of Karakol have expressed concern about the quality of drinking water, finding dirt and parasites in it. They voiced their alarm on social media.
“This is what our drinking water looks like in December 2025. Problems have been identified in the water of a multi-story building on Koenkozov Street. ‘Not Mr.’ head of the water utility of Karakol - where are the funds from the international project that were allocated for the renovation of the city’s water supply system?! What are we paying for?” local residents complain.
