From April 6 to April 12, 2026, Bishkek will host the Asian Championship in wrestling for adults. This event will be the fourth of its kind to take place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, with similar tournaments previously held here in 2007, 2018, and 2024.
The organization of this championship once again highlights the significance of Kyrgyzstan as a key venue for international wrestling competitions and provides the national team with the opportunity to compete on home soil in front of their fans.
